1. Who we are
Conservatory Roof Guide ("we", "us") is run by the operator of this website. We are the controller of the personal data collected on conservatoryroofguide.co.uk. Contact: hello@conservatoryroofguide.co.uk.
2. What we do
We help homeowners get free, no obligation quotes to replace a conservatory roof. We do not install roofs. When you ask for quotes, we pass your request to our partner Leads 2 Trade Limited, who checks it with you and introduces you to up to 4 local installers.
3. The information we collect
- About your project: roof type wanted, current roof, conservatory style, approximate size, frame material, timeframe and whether you own the property.
- About you: name, phone number, email address and postcode.
- Consent records: the wording you agreed to, the date and time, your IP address and browser details.
- Website use: pages visited, device and browser, how you arrived (for example the ad or search term) and your cookie choices. Some of this is collected by cookies, see section 9.
4. How we use it and our lawful basis

You do not have to give us your details, but we cannot arrange quotes without your name, phone number and postcode.
5. Who we share your information with
- Leads 2 Trade Limited (trading as Compare Companies), company 05987279, A18 The Embankment Business Park, Vale Road, Heaton Mersey, Stockport SK4 3GN, ICO registration Z9692711. It is an independent controller. It will contact you to confirm your requirements, then share your details with up to 4 conservatory roof installers covering your postcode. Each installer is its own controller and may contact you only about your quote. Leads 2 Trade's privacy policy is at leads2trade.co.uk/privacy-policy. You can ask Leads 2 Trade or us for the names of the installers.
- Service providers who process data for us: Vercel Inc. (website hosting), our database provider, Zapier Inc. (moves your request securely to Leads 2 Trade), Resend (email delivery), Google (Analytics and Ads, only with cookie consent) and Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram ads, only with cookie consent). They act on our instructions under data processing terms.
- Authorities or professional advisers where the law requires it.
We do not sell or share your details with anyone else.
6. International transfers
Some providers (for example Vercel, Zapier, Google and Meta) process data in the United States. We rely on the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified, or on the UK International Data Transfer Addendum otherwise.
7. How long we keep it
We keep quote requests and consent records for 24 months from the date of your request, so we can answer questions, handle complaints and prove consent. We then delete or anonymise them. If you opted in to our emails, we keep your contact details until you unsubscribe, plus a suppression record so we do not contact you again. Leads 2 Trade and the installers keep your data under their own policies.
8. Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its use, or send it to you in a portable format. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing hello@conservatoryroofguide.co.uk or clicking unsubscribe in any email. If your request has already gone to Leads 2 Trade, we will tell them you have withdrawn, and you can also contact them on 0800 124 4308 or info@leads2trade.co.uk. Withdrawing consent does not affect contact already made lawfully.
9. Cookies
We use essential storage to run the site and remember your quote answers during a visit. With your permission we also use analytics cookies (Google Analytics) and advertising cookies and pixels (Meta Pixel, Google Ads) to measure and improve our ads. If you accept advertising cookies, we may also send a scrambled (hashed) copy of your email or phone to Meta or Google to measure whether an ad led to your request. You can change your choice at any time through "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page. See the cookie policy.
10. Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, email hello@conservatoryroofguide.co.uk. We will acknowledge your complaint within 30 days and tell you what we are doing about it. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office: ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113.
11. Changes
We will post any changes here with a new date. The consent wording you agreed to is stored with your request.
