Conservatory Roof Guide explains every way to replace a conservatory roof in plain English, with real prices, and puts homeowners in touch with installers when they are ready. The team behind it has handled 9,000+ conservatory roof quote requests from UK homeowners, and the same questions come up every time: what will it cost, will it actually be warmer, do I need permission, and how do I know the quote is fair. This site answers them.
How we make money
We are paid when a homeowner asks for quotes and we pass that request to our partner, Leads 2 Trade Limited (trading as Compare Companies), who checks it by phone and introduces up to four installers covering the postcode. Homeowners never pay us anything. We are not paid by roof manufacturers, and no manufacturer can pay to change a score or a comparison.
How we write the guides
- Prices are typical installed ranges gathered from published UK sources, installer price guides and manufacturer information, then checked against each other. They are updated when the market moves and dated on every page.
- Product specs such as U-values, weights and guarantees come from each manufacturer's own published data and certification bodies. Where a maker does not publish a figure we say so.
- Rules on building regulations and planning come from the Planning Portal, the Approved Documents and LABC.
- We do not claim to have tested products we have not tested, and we do not publish reviews we cannot verify.
